Noises and Limits

Well Quinn is now 8 weeks old or 2 months! Time has flew by, though it seems he has always been here. He is getting bigger and stronger each day, getting more and more frustrated as he is trying to crawl and sit up - just has problems co-ordinating all the bits of his body to do the right thing at the right time.

Quinn has certainly found his voice and now makes a very clear and sweet 'uggle' sound, he also roars like a lion, says 'ah' and has a very sweet laugh and cheeky smile (just like his dad!) He is very aware of his surroundings, trying to grab everything, including mommy's necklace, daddy's chest hair (ouch!) and his toys. Beth and Connor have experienced his mean left (and right?) hook as his arms are constantly flapping around.

Quinn likes lying on his playmat and talking to himself in his mirror - who said he loved himself?! He has got into a pretty good routine - is feeding more than he should, but is generally content and likes his sleep. He continues to enjoy watching the TV and we now have Baby TV for him, though anything with a loud noise (usually something daddy's watching with explosions) does well, Quinn also enjoyed watching Alvin and the Chipmunks on Sunday evening for our overdue movie night.

We experienced this week what a houseful of 6 kids and then 4 kids would be like - arrghhhh!!!!! i think 3 is the limit. Beth and Connor have been good this week, the girls went to crop (again!) on Saturday - leaving us boys home alone. Daddy never went to Gaydon over the weekends as Grandad said his series still wasn't finished, though Daddy's is in a worst state - so best keep quiet!

We've had a lazy bank holiday, though the weather hasn't been great - perhaps have a wonder out later.....
